Your default login (user name) is set to your membership number, and your password is set to the first letter of your first name plus up to seven letters of your last name (a maximum of 8 characters, all in lowercase, no spaces). It's important to note that special characters (i.e. apostrophes, commas, dashes) are not used in your default login. They are ignored but counted as one letter of your 8 characters. See example 2.
Example 1:
Member John Smithfield has a membership identification number of 888888. John's default login (user name) is 888888, and his default password is jsmithfi.
Example 2:
Member Mike O'Connell has a membership identification number of 888888. Mike's default login is 888888, and his default password is moconne. Notice that there are 7 total characters because we counted the apostrophe but did not type it.
